Shaker Style Kitchen – H Murphy

James is a delight to work with. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. By nature, he always goes above and beyond. James dealt with all my grand designs drawn on scraps of paper, last minute changes and hair brained ideas increasing workload with good grace and enthusiasm. I had my boot-room made by a known local company at the same time and the quality between that and the kitchen James made is unbelievable. In short, I couldn’t praise James’s work more highly or recommend him more.

Shaker Kitchen – D Sangwine

James from Anderson Reeve was commissioned to renew our kitchen in 2017.

Throughout the design and concept stage, CAD drawings were provided that accurately displayed the final layout; these together with James’s advice and guidance allowed us to quickly finalise a design that evolved into a highly effective and attractive working kitchen.

James’s technical and craftsmanship skills are exemplary; the final result was a perfectly finished installation of the very highest quality. It looks stunningly good and works equally as well.

His high standards of customer care, use of quality materials and attention to detail add to the finished result and afford me the opportunity to recommend him extremely highly.

Pippy Oak and Painted office – E Lewis

Having read the glowing reviews on James’s website, we immediately knew that he would be the man for the job. We were looking to have an office installed in the second bedroom of our home which would give the storage space we needed whilst still allowing space for a sofa bed when guests come to stay.James did not disappoint! He gave us a modern and expertly crafted home office which even included a cleverly designed sliding drawer unit which allowed the sofa bed to slide out underneath the desk! Without James, we would not have been able to make of the most of this space as we are now able to do. Throughout he was professional and methodical and we would not hesitate to recommend him and use his services again in the future.

Rose Cottage – E L Wilkinson

We commissioned James to design and make a hand-made kitchen back in 2016 for what can only be described as a challenging space in our grade II listed cottage. From design through to completion, James project-managed the whole process with professionalism and incredible attention to detail. He carefully listened to what we wanted whilst offering creative ideas and solutions and, as a result, gave us a kitchen which exceeded all expectations! The way he cleverly worked with the space available has given us the storage we need but which we never thought possible! His craftsmanship is the talking point for any visitors who see it and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asks!

Painted Office Library – Craig B

In Spring 2015 we decorated our master bedroom and searched high and low for 2 bedside tables and 2 matching sets of drawers to fit an unusual sized space. After an extensive and fruitless search we realised that having hand-made, bespoke furniture was the only way that we would get exactly what we wanted, so we contacted James Reeves. James came to measure up and talk to us about how he builds each piece for each client. We also decided to investigate have him completely fitting out our home office with bespoke bookcase, cupboards and desk, as our requirements were also very specific for this room. James discussed every little detail, working out all our best options on usage of space, aesthetics and price, and then he quoted for both rooms. At this point he informed us that he was busy for 12 months and that there would be a considerable wait before he was available to manufacture and install our furniture. Not wanting to ‘spoil the ship for a ha’ porth of tar’, we agreed that this was not an issue. We had already decided that we actively wanted James to do the bedroom and office furniture because we had been very impressed with the care and attention we had received from James during our dialogues about the design. From initial consultation to delivery and installation, James demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail exceeding our expectations. He patiently re-drew designs and drawings to address issues as they arouse and worked closely with us every step of the way. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. James is a gifted craftsman and his work is thorough and meticulous. Each room is exactly how we envisaged it and we cannot praise James highly enough for his ability to bring our wishes to such stunningly beautiful (and subsequently much-admired) reality. He was well worth the wait! Thank you, James!

European Oak Kitchen – Katie C

In 2013 we decided to move our hand built european oak kitchen to a new extension and wanted some matching units and an island made to match. From the initial consultation to delivery James demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail and we were thrilled with the final product and how it matched the units we already had.

We were looking for an individual, quality service to fit our small office cum occasional bedroom and chose James, of Anderson Reeve. Wolds Country Kitchen– Tracey P

We have just had our new kitchen fitted by James and we are thrilled with the end result. James craftsmanship is to an extremely high standard and his attention to detail could not be faulted. James ensures the kitchen is both practical and looks amazing. He listened to what we wanted but also came up with some really good ideas. James is really friendly and easy to have working in your home and we would highly recommend his work.

Bank House – Nick W

We had an extension approximately 3 years ago, and on the suggestion of a friend, asked James Reeve to visit and suggest a few ideas for our new kitchen. James obviously has the skill and design flair to provide us with a “freestanding” hand built kitchen, using a variety of materials from marble, tulip wood and Cherry. It is now over 3 years since we had the kitchen fitted, and we are still thrilled with the quality of the craftsmanship, and the fact that it was considerably cheaper than the more well known alternatives! I would recommend James Reeve to anybody that wants a quality, individual, kitchen.

The Orchard – Alistair J

Extremely high quality furniture with an outstanding finish; James takes every care to ensure the finished product is nothing short of perfect. James is nice guy and makes every effort to understand what you want from your kitchen both functionally and aesthetically. James is tidy, he cleans up after himself and takes care so as not to damage existing furniture. I can guarantee that the same quality and service would cost considerably more with a larger more established company.
